The Anniversary celebrations on 1 and 2 October 2010 were among the highlights of the year. They included keynote speeches on the future of the multilateral trading system by renowned speakers, accompanied by the musical composition “Trade Winds Suite”. During the Open Day on 23 October 2010, the WTI and NCCR Trade Regulation opened its doors to the broader public and locals. To commemorate the landmark, the Institute hosted a Distinguished Lecture Series throughout the year that brought leading trade practitioners to Bern to share views on cutting-edge issues in international trade governance.
