| Daniel Odermatt joined the University of Bern as head of administration and member of the board of directors in 2004. He is in charge of finances, human resources, information technology, facility management, the university libraries, all service providers, and he oversees knowledge and technology transfer. He previously spent ten years with the Schweizerische Mobiliar, a Swiss insurance company, ultimately as head of information technology and member of the executive board. He moved on to Computer Sciences Corporation CSC where he spent two years as Business Unit Director, responsible for establishing its strategy consulting branch in Switzerland. Mr Odermatt obtained his PhD in business informatics from the University of Bern in 1991. | |
