WTI researcher lectures in China

NCCR Trade Regulation researcher Ilaria Espa delivered four lectures at Renmin University of China Law School, Beijing, and Nankai University School of Law, Tianjin, from 12 to 16 September.

Dr Espa was presenting the findings of her NCCR-related Cambridge University Press book on export restrictions on natural resources, and WTO law and its implications for China.

She also met with representatives of the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) in Beijing and with the lead lawyer representing China in the WTO China – Rare Earths case.

The lectures were part of the NCCR Global Series on Trade Regulation. These are events taking place in different parts of the world between June 2016 and October 2017 to present the insights gained by researchers involved in the NCCR Trade Regulation.
