Wase Musonge is a Cameroonian national who completed an undergraduate degree in Business Administration (Hons.) at the Business and Management University in Geneva, Switzerland. Her interest in trade law and economic and development issues motivated her to seek employment at the South Centre (an intergovernmental organization of developing countries based in Geneva) where she has been working since 2005. She works for the Trade and Development Programme which provides assistance to developing countries in WTO negotiations through research and policy analysis.
Wase decided to apply to the MILE programme in order to gain a solid base from which to advance her career in the field of trade law, consultancy and trade diplomacy. She is fluent in both English and French. She also has a basic knowledge of Spanish and German. She has travelled extensively for work-related purposes and for personal experiences. She loves meeting and working with people from different cultural and social backgrounds. In her spare time, she enjoys traveling, listening to jazz and cooking for friends and family.
