Nzallawahe Rehema Kassim - Tanzania Print
Rehema Nzallawahe is a Trade Officer in the Tanzanian Ministry of Industry, Trade and Marketing. She has a postgraduate degree in Business Administration with a major in marketing. Rehema has an interest in product development and diversification and believes that market access opportunities for LDCs can only be effective if the LDCs build their capacities to produce tradable goods of higher value and acceptable quality at competitive costs. Also, the economic benefit depends on how a country makes use of opportunities presented by trade liberalization and globalization.
In recognizing the role and importance of trade in economic growth, and the need of experts in the trade area to negotiate and make interpretation of trade agreements, Rehema chose the MILE programme to strengthen her capacity in international trade.
