Phuong holds Bachelor and Master’s degrees in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Vietnam (previously known as Institute for International Relations), Vietnam. The course covers all the main areas of international relations, international law, international economics and international politics.
Phuong has also worked for three years as an associate at VILAF – HONG DUC Lawyers, Vietnam, a leading law firm in Vietnam on business and commercial laws. She has advised clients in their transactions and projects under the instruction and supervision of partners and senior associates, relating to corporate, foreign investments, mergers and acquisitions, banking and finance, project finance, securities, insurance, telecommunications and intellectual properties.
