Natália Ruschel is a Brazilian lawyer specialized in customs and international trade law. She has worked for the company AIV Auditoria Independente Ltda. as a junior auditor of multinational industries. Her duty was to check if the import and export proceedings were compliant with Brazilian and international law. She graduated in Law from Pontific Catholic University in Campinas and received a post graduate degree in Customs Law from the State University of Campinas – UNICAMP. During her graduate studies she completed internships at Brazilian law firms and in Rhodia Brasil Ltda. She has an Advanced Certificate in Trade Policy and Law from the University of Carleton, Canada. She is now partner of a Brazilian law firm (Lira and Associates). Some of her main duties are related to customs and international law consultancy, including customs valuation, anti-dumping duties, rules of origin, Brazilian import and export procedures, Special Customs Regimes, Mercosur and other Free Trade Agreements. Her hobbies are traveling, reading, cycling, volleyball, football and squash. She speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.
