HyeSook Shin worked as a manager at the National Pension Service in the Republic of Korea for eight years. She holds an M.A and B.A in Public Administration. In the Graduate School of Public Administration at Yonsei University in Korea, she was on the dean’s list and was honored with the prize for the best thesis. She participated in a seminar held by the Korea Graduate School of International Studies and the Asia Center for Human Rights for a few months, during which she met professionals from international organizations like the ILO and the UN headquarters in New York, and she had the opportunity to debate and discuss human rights, poverty and issues related to international trade. Taking that momentum, she has joined the MILE program with her aspiration to have international experience and know more about the world’s trading system. She enjoys swimming, movies and hiking.
