She has led the development of the Commission's ground-breaking newsletter, Trade Gateway, and is a regular coordinator and writer. She plays an integral role in the public education function of the Commission, spearheading the development of training materials, liaising with private and public sector organizations, and other countries' Investigating Authorities. Additionally, she has contributed to the development of the Commission's Centre of Trade Excellence, which has acted as a resource for other countries as well as domestic actors on a number of trade and trade related issues. Prior to joining the Commission Ms. Thompson worked as an Economist at the Bank of Jamaica.
