Senya Robert is a graduate in Agricultural Economics and Agribusiness from Sokoine University. He worked as a senior loan officer with one of the leading financial institutions in his country, the National Microfinance Bank in Tanzania, before joining a public services mission as an economist in the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Marketing. His main duty involves analysing national trade policy and identifying different alternative programmes which help to achieve national goals. He has also been exposed to regional and multilateral trade negotiations where he got some basic knowledge on WTO issues. Apart from working, he enjoys swimming and watching movies.
