As part of their studies, MILE students complete a master's thesis on a selected topic in the field of law and economics of international trade regulation. In conjunction with a supervisor, they develop a suitable topic for independent research. Students must submit the final draft by September 30 of the academic year in which they complete the MILE Programme.
Each year, a select number of theses have the potential to be published in a peer-reviewed journal. A sample of MILE theses that received an A or B grade is available on the WTI website.
