Elisa Fornalé joined WP4 as Postdoc Fellow. She is researching on the normative linkages between trade, migration and development issues. She is involved in the organization of the 2011 General Forum on Migration and Development (GFMD) thematic meeting on Markets for Migration and Development (M4MD) together with Marion Panizzon and Johanna Wiese.
Dr Elisa Fornalé is Visiting Researcher on immigration and integration from a legal perspective at the Centre for Migration Law, University of Neuchatel. She has worked for two years as Project Manager in Beni Mellal and Rabat, responsible for the implementation and coordination of the Project “Migration tous en reseaux!”, funded by the European Union, focusing on the protection and implementation of human rights standards. She obtained her PhD in human rights law with the mention “Doctor Europeaus” from the University of Palermo, in March 2011. She holds an MA in International Cooperation and Conflict Management, and she has a BA in International Law from the University of Trento.
