Kander Máté
Máté Kander is originally from Hungary and recently graduated from Corvinus University of Budapest with two Bachelor’s degrees in International Relations and International Business Economics. His undergraduate studies and research focused primarily on international organizations while in his final years of study, Máté specialized in Global Economy. In his first thesis he addressed the topic of economic sanctions under the United Nations and he later researched international trade by analyzing the deadlock of the WTO Doha Round. Máté’s internship experience has included research positions at the International Organizations and Human Rights Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as well as at the Hungarian Embassy in Brussels. Máté also gained insight into the business sector while working in the Corporate Cash Management section at Deutsche Bank, Hungary.
Máté speaks fluent Hungarian, English and German and has a good basic knowledge of French. By studying the MILE Programme he hopes to achieve his career goal of working in the field of international trade. Máté enjoys playing sport and spending time with friends.
