Schmid Michael

Michael Schmid, Attorney-at-Law, LL.M., is Deputy Head of the "International Investments and Multinational Enterprises" Unit at the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO) in the Federal Department of Economic Affairs (EVD), Berne. Prior to joining SECO he worked in the Directorate of Public International Law in the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs. In these positions he gathered extensive experience in BIT and FTA negotiations for Switzerland and for the European Free Trade Association (EFTA). Before joining the Swiss federal administration he worked for business law firms in Zurich.
