WTI announces establishment of new scholarship fund

The WTI is proud to announce the establishment of the Patricia Murillo Montesdeoca Scholarship which will allow a student or young professional to pursue a one-year advanced master programme at the WTI in Bern, Switzerland.

This privately funded scholarship covers the tuition and registration fee, travel costs and living expenses of the recipient.

The scholarship is in memory of the late Patricia Murillo Montesdeoca, a Falun Gong practitioner and human rights activist from Guayaquil, Ecuador.

Those eligible to apply for the scholarship are students or young professionals from developing countries with an excellent academic record and a strong interest in sustainable development, global economic governance and human rights.

Preference will be given to female students or young professionals from Latin America, but others are also encouraged to apply.

For more information, see the MILE and TRAIL+ financial aid sections of the WTI website.
