Flavia Jurje is a senior researcher at the University of Geneva/Global Studies Institute and recipient of an SNSF Advanced Postdoc Fellowship. Previously, she worked as senior researcher and lecturer at the University of Lucerne in the Political Science Department and spent 18 months at the Centre for International Studies at the London School of Economics and Political Sciences (LSE) on an SNSF Advanced Postdoc mobility fellowship. Flavia received a PhD in European Politics from ETH Zurich in 2010. As part of the NCCR Trade, Flavia works on global trade regulations and mobility of service providers. In particular, she assesses the trade-migration interlinkages at the multilateral, regional, and bilateral level across developed countries and emerging markets, as well as within regional integration units. Flavia has authored several publications, including a book on Europeanisation in New Member States (Routledge, 2013). Flavia’s main research focus is on global trade regulations; international migration governance; emerging markets; regional integration; and social network analysis.
