Comparative Law and Jurisprudence
Beatrice Nybert is a PhD researcher with Work Package 3: Innovation and Competitiveness in Trade Governance, looking into the history of intellectual property protection enforcement.
Ms. Nybert obtained her L.L.M. at the University of Uppsala, Sweden, where she additionally undertook studies in Economics, International Trade and Statistics. She has also studied at the Institute for International and Comparative Law in Africa, at the University of Pretoria. Her fields of interest include intellectual property law, legal history and legal theory. Prior to joining the WTI, she held an intern position at the Trade Department of the Swedish Foreign Ministry. Ms. Nybert aspires to be a trained specialist in the field of intellectual property law.
