"Strength does not come from physical capacity. It comes from an indomitable will," said Mahatma Gandhi.

Stanley Kinga Mwendia is a Kenyan business administration degree holder from Maseno University (Kenya) and currently pursues the Master of International Law and Economics programme at the World Trade Institute, University of Bern, Switzerland. Upon graduation in 2010, Stanley worked for various companies in Kenya in an administrative capacity as a financial adviser. Stanley has a keen interest in strengthening the welfare of the needy in society. This inspired him to start working as a researcher for the Community Research Project at Tulane University (United States). This initiative enabled him to join the labour Union in Kenya (Kenya Electrical Trade and Allied Workers Union-KETAWU) where he was instrumental in policy development. Stanley is also a co-initiator of Global Veterans & Peace Ambassadors (GLOVEPA), a registered international non-governmental organisation advocating for peace in the horn of Africa where he still serves as a liaison officer. In Switzerland, Stanley worked with the NGO Reka (Schweizer Reisekasse Genossenschaft). Stanley likes combining travelling as a hobby while researching at the same time and recommends that you don't touch the remote when he is watching documentaries.
