Heloisa Pereira is the former deputy director of the Department of Trade Remedies (DECOM) of the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade in Brazil and a former lecturer in WTO trade remedies law and practice. She holds an Msc in International Relations and a BA in Political Science from the University of Brasilia - Brazil, and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Law and Economics (MILE) at the World Trade Institute, University of Bern, Switzerland.  

Between 2012 and 2014, she was economic affairs officer in the Rules Division of the WTO. She joined the Brazilian government in 2003, as a foreign trade analyst in the Ministry of Development, Industry and Foreign Trade.
