Yomeini Perez Andrade is a lawyer with work experience in Peruvian Governmental Agencies such as the Ministry of Production, the Ministry of Transport and Telecommunications and the National Institute for Defence of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property.

In 2016 she graduated from the Master in International Law and Economics at the World Trade Institute with a thesis that analyses the Trade Facilitation Agreement as an enabler for the insertion of Peruvian SMEs in Global Value Chains. Following her graduation she worked in the Office for Latin America and the Caribbean of the International Trade Center (WTO/UNCTAD joint agency). Afterwards she worked in the Information and External Relations Division of the World Trade Organisation.

After gaining experience in International Organisations, Yomeini shifted to private consultancies, having worked with Developing Trade Consultants, a consulting firm based in New York.

As a foreign student in Switzerland, Yomeini believes that cultural exchange is one of the most rewarding experiences in life. She speaks Spanish, English, French and Italian.
