Solomiya Koshulynska-Chuba obtained her Master’s degree in international law from the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv, Ukraine. While an undergraduate she studied for one year at the Lewis and Clark College, Portland, Oregon, USA (fellowship from the US Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Global Undergraduate Exchange Program). Further, she participated in different international conferences and summer schools: European Forum Alpbach (Austria), Visegrad Summer School (Poland), Bled School of Management (Slovenia), Berlin School of Economics and Law (Germany).
 
Throughout her studies at the university she completed various internships at the District Court; Lviv City Council (Department of International Relations, Legal Department); Wroclaw City Council, Poland, all of which provided both substantial knowledge and practical experience.  In addition, Solomiya completed an internship in the World Affairs Council of Oregon in the USA, where she was assistant to the Project Manager and accountable for foreign delegations participating in a programme on developing and functioning of medium and small sized businesses.
 
After university, Solomiya was employed for three years at the Arzinger Law Company, Ukraine. She mainly worked in the area of corporate law, foreign investments and public-private partnerships. At the same time, she was working part-time at the Ivan Franko National University of Lviv as the coordinator of international cooperation projects. Subsequently, Solomiya started working for the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), FAIR Justice Project in Lviv, Ukraine. 

Her areas of interest include regional economic integration, international trade and economic development, trade-related investment measures and technical barriers to trade.
