WTI Moot Court 2025

Nineteen students from the MILE and TRAIL+ master’s program took part in this exercise coached by Ms Viktoriia Mykuliak and Mr Akhil Raina. Four groups presented their allegations as complaints and respondents to the distinguished panellists: Mr Werner Zdouc, Ms Kholofelo Kugler, Ms Maryam AlDoseri, Mr Jan Bohanes, Ms Jenya Grigorova, Mr Vitaliy Pogoretskyy, Ms Sybilla Fries and Mr. Deepak Raju.

After the first round, 2 teams made the next step to the final round:

Group 1: Mr Caleb Catalan, Ms Shruti Jhanwar, Mr Jan LeBret, Mr Huiyang Zhao

Group 4: Ms Wardi Zaman, Ms Emma Obobisa, Ms Xu Hanling, Mr Yilun Tian and Mr Chinmay Salaye

The best orators of the preliminary round were Mr. Caleb Catalan, Ms Suhani Chanchlani and Ms Wardi Zaman.

During the final round, on the 27 May, the panellists were Prof Isabelle Van Damme acting as Chair, Mr Werner Zdouc and Ms Jenya Grigorova.

The announcement of the finalists was made during the Alumni gathering that the WTI hosted at the WTI Advisors premises in the evening of 26 May, and the winning team was Group 1 and the prize to the best orator was granted to Mr. Caleb Catalan from Philippines.
