WTI’s Managing Director, Prof Joseph Francois, was interviewed by The National, a large English-speaking journal in the Middle East.
Unlike in Europe, America's road to taming inflation appears to be insulated from Houthi disruptions. The US economy appears to be heading towards a soft landing, but recent attacks by Yemen's Houthis in the Red Sea have prompted fears that disruption to global trade and energy markets could derail much of the progress the country has made in its inflation fight.
If it goes to hell in a handbasket, all kinds of things happen. But then it's disruptive for other reasons, too
