Safe and Effective Practice with AI in Research

This AI training session examines how researchers can safely and effectively use AI in their writing for publication.

Participants are requested to bring their laptops and at least one piece of their own recent writing, ideally work in progress. This interactive session includes several hands-on activities implementing some of the inputs from the first two sessions and practicing techniques for searching literature, avoiding unintentional plagiarism, and evaluating AI output. Variations in attitudes to AI across academia will also be discussed.

Because of the nature of this workshop, it is only offered in-person.
