Latin American Network of International Economic Law (Red-Lat DEI)

This MoU focuses on the organization and sponsorship of the Global Jurist Prize (third edition) and the Latin American Moot Court of International Economic Law (first edition). WTI will provide two educational vouchers—covering one week at the WTI Winter or Summer Academy—for winners in the postgraduate category (best paper) and best speaker, respectively.

Secretariat for Central American Economic Integration (SIECA)

A general cooperation MoU centered on capacity-building, joint publications, and supporting SIECA’s new moot court on inter-state arbitration in trade matters.

NALSAR University of Law (Centre for International Trade and Business Laws), Hyderabad, India

This agreement aims to enhance academic and research cooperation with one of India’s premier national law schools.

China Institute for WTO Studies (CIWTO), University of International Business and Economics, China

The MoU was formally renewed to continue promoting academic, cultural, and collaborative exchanges between WTI and CIWTO.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Diplomatic Academy of Peru

The agreement facilitates regular training programs in international trade, investment, and sustainable development for Peruvian diplomats. It was concluded during a visit by Prof. Van den Bossche, who also delivered lectures at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú.

Through the WTO Chairs Programme, WTI entered into an MoU to support and develop collaborative activities such as teaching and research initiatives with FTU.

The Centre for WTO Studies (CWS) of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT)

he Joint Academy on International Trade Law and Policy run by the WTI and the Centre for WTO Studies of the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is held annually in Delhi. It was established in 2014 to provide law students and legal professionals in India with an opportunity to increase their knowledge of trade regulation and governance issues.

The 2025 WTI-CWS Joint Academy on International Trade Law and Economic Policy will be held in Summer 2026.

International Bachelor Summer School for Climate Change Research

Co-organised by the WTI and the Oeschger Centre for Climate Change Research (OCCR), the 4th International Bachelor Summer School for Climate Change Research, will take place from 4-15 August 2025.
