Dr. Andrea Marco Steingruber, LL.M.

Dr. Andrea Marco Steingruber, LL.M., is an attorney-at-law and admitted solicitor (non-practising) in England and Wales. He studied law at the University of Bern, where he passed the bar exam in 1994, and continued his legal education at the University of Edinburgh (LL.M.), the University of Cambridge (M.Litt., International Law), the University of London, Queen Mary, School of International Arbitration (Ph.D.), and The Hague Academy of International Law. In addition, he holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen (M.A. HSG). Professionally, he has worked as tax and legal counsel for a major trust company and as attorney-at-law with leading business law firms in Lugano, Zurich, and Bern. In 2004, he was awarded the W.A. Wilson Prize in International Law by the University of Edinburgh. He has published books and articles on international arbitration, international sanctions, uniform law and non-financial reporting.
