WTI Reaches Out to Mongolia
On 22 June 2023, Peter Van den Bossche, the WTI Director of Studies, gave a two-hour guest lecture at the National University of Mongolia on Rules-Based International Trade in Times of Geo-Political Confrontation and Geo-Economic Fragmentation at the National University of Mongolia.
The online lecture was attended by professors and students of the School of Law, researchers of the Legal Research Center of Mongolia, officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and diplomats of the Embassy of Mongolia in Geneva. This lecture was the first event organized under the Memorandum of Understanding concluded in May 2023 between the National University of Mongolia and the WTI. The WTI is grateful to H.E. Davaasuren Gerelmaa, Ambassador of Mongolia to Switzerland, the United Nations and other international organizations in Geneva, and Mr. Batzorig Enkhbold, First Counsellor at the Embassy of Mongolia in Switzerland, for their efforts in initiating the collaboration with the National University of Mongolia.
