Could a WTO Accession "lock in" Uzbekistan's still rather timid Agricultural Reform for 2030?

Three days of interesting debates between academics, policy-makers, agricultural production and trade specialists, from 6 to 8 September 2022 in Tashkent.

The course was led by Christian Häberli (WTI) with the help of Umida Haqnazar (independent legal/trade consultant), and organized by Umid Yakubkhodjaev (the dean of the Faculty of International Law). The WTI and the University of World Economy and Diplomacy (UWED) came together as part of the project “Facilitating the Process of Uzbekistan’s accession to the World Trade Organization” to further the discussion.

(Funded by the European Union and implemented by the International Trade Centre (ITC) in Geneva and in cooperation with the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of the Republic of Uzbekistan.)
