Dr. Aylin Yildiz Noorda, research fellow at the WTI, has contributed to the WWF Sustainable Financial Regulations and Central Bank Activities (SUSREG) Assessment Report 2022. The report was launched on 21 December 2022 during COP15 to the Convention on Biological Diversity in Montreal, Canada.

The report evaluates progress on sustainable financial regulations and central bank activities in 44 jurisdictions. Together, they represent over 88% of the global GDP, 72% of global GHG emissions and 11 out of the 17 most biodiversity-rich countries in the world.

Thus, WWF calls for ambitious action from central banks, supervisors and regulators to align activities with global diversity deal 2030.

Aylin was part of Deloitte Switzerland’s team led by Marcel Meyer, Jerome Crugnola-Humbert and Kaja Brodtkorb, who worked closely with WWF’s Adam Ng, Siti Kholifatul Rizkiah, and Maud Abdelli.
