Call for Presentations! WTI Brown Bag seminar series

We invite all researchers in the field of international trade and investment law to share their knowledge and insights with our community. Apply today to speak at our WTI Brown Bag seminar series.

The World Trade Institute (WTI) is pleased to announce a Call for Presentations for our upcoming WTI Brown Bag seminar series. We invite researchers in the field of international trade and investment law to share their knowledge and insights with our community.

The WTI Brown Bag seminar series provides a forum for discussing and “road-testing” cutting-edge research related to trade and investment law in a casual and informal setting. In each seminar, a researcher from the fields of economics, law or political science presents a current research project which can come in the form of a research paper or a similar scientific contribution.

The seminars take place roughly bi-monthly during the semester, usually on Tuesdays from 12:15-13:15 at the World Trade Institute. After the seminar, the presenters are invited (and attendees encouraged) to join for an informal lunch with further lively discussion.

Presentations should be approximately 30 minutes in length and may be geared towards a specialist audience. The seminars are hosted in an online/hybrid format, although presenters are required to present in person at the WTI. Travel expenses are covered for train travels from Switzerland or possibly neighbouring countries.

If you are interested in presenting at one of our upcoming seminars, please fill in the following application form. We will get in touch with selected speakers as soon as possible and on a rolling basis.
