Quynh Nguyen

Quynh Nguyen is an Associate Professor of Environmental Governance and Global Development at the Wyss Academy for Nature and the Institute of Political Science at the University of Bern. Her research focuses on environmental governance, sustainable development, and the intersection of public opinion with international economic policy. Her work combines rigorous survey and experimental methods to address pressing global challenges, from environmental migration to corporate environmentalism.

Quynh has held positions at institutions like the Australian National University, Princeton University and ETH Zurich, where she obtained her PhD. Her work has been published in top-tier journals and she has consulted various international organizations, including the World Bank, United Nations and USAID.
