Riccarda Léonie Heepen

Riccarda is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in International Law at the Geneva Graduate Institute, following the completion of her Bachelor’s degree in International Relations at the University of Geneva. Since August 2023, she has been working as a research assistant for Professor Elisa Fornalé and has been involved in the research projects Gender Equality in the Mirror and HRJust. Her primary areas of interest include international humanitarian law, strategic climate litigation, and human rights law. Outside of her academic work, she enjoys learning languages, backpacking, and spending time in nature through hiking and camping.
