Agne Sovaite holds a Bachelor of laws degree and a Master’s degree in business law from the Mykolas Romeris University, Vilnius, Lithuania.
Her studies specialized in trade law, corporate law, competition law and intellectual property law. During her studies, she was invited to conduct scientific research on political parties for the Institute of Political Science and International Relations of Vilnius University and she was the president of the Mykolas Romeris University Debating Society. Work experience as a junior lawyer at the leading Pan-Baltic law firm LAWIN, Vilnius office, in the Corporate and M&A practice group and later in the Trade and Technology practice group, has given Agne a passion to learn more about intellectual property law and the regulation of international trade. Furthermore she practised as an in-house lawyer at the commercial bank in Lithuania where she mainly dealt with litigation, negotiation and loan risk management. She is fluent in Lithuanian, English and Russian.
Agne enjoys debating, travel, reading and live music.
