Tetyana Payosova graduated from the National University Odessa Law Academy, Ukraine in 2007 and has a Master of Law degree (2009) from the University of Bern, Switzerland. Tetyana has been a research fellow at the Institute for European and International Trade Law, University of Bern, since 2008, and closely cooperated with NCCR Trade Regulation Work Package 5 on Trade and Climate Change. The topic of her PhD research is the analysis of framework conditions for the promotion of renewable energy, with a focus on solar energy, and international trade regulation. Her research interests include the status of energy in the WTO, regulation of electricity markets, promotion of renewables, climate change mitigation, intellectual property law and EU law.
