Ogwuche Sunday is currently a Commercial Officer with the Department of Trade, Federal Ministry of Trade and Investment, Abuja, Nigeria where he handles issues relating to trade and development.  He holds a Degree in Business Management from the University of Jos, Nigeria (2002). In 2009, Sunday participated in the World Bank International Trade Department training in Abuja on the Tariff Reform Impact Simulation Tool (TRIST). Consequent on this training, he was part of the Nigerian Experts that conducted a study on the IMPACT OF EPA MARKET ACCESS OFFER ON NIGERIA: AN UPDATED ANALYSIS in October 2009, Published by the then Federal Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Abuja Nigeria (Now Federal Ministry of Trade & Investment, Abuja).  Sunday also participated in the TradeSift Trade Policy Training Course, in Ethiopia (2010), organized by the University of Sussex, UK, in partnership with UK DFID. He was also a participant at the 3rd World Trade Organization (WTO) Regional Trade Policy Course held at the University of Swaziland in 2011.  Sunday has conducted mini studies on the implication of the Developing 8 Preferential Trade Arrangement for Nigeria and the implication of the Generalized System of Trade Preferences (GSTP) amongst South - South Nations, for Nigeria. The outcome of these studies largely informed the Nigerian Government position on these trade arrangements and negotiations.  In 2010, he was part of the Nigerian Delegates to the 11th Session of D-8 High Level Trade Officials (HLTO) Meeting in Istanbul, were member States offered products for liberalization in accordance with Article 5 of the D – 8 PTA.  Sunday is currently a Nigerian Capital Based Expert on the Multilateral Trade Desk providing Technical Back Stopping for the Nigerian Trade office to the World Trade Organization, Geneva.
