Karla Solis MILE 13
Karla Solis graduated from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru in 2009 with a Bachelor in Social Sciences, majoring in Economics. She has also taken courses in international trade and bio-trade. For the past 4 years, she has worked at the Social Sciences Faculty of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru as a research assistant in topics such as international economics, international integration, bio-trade and sustainable development. Karla has also collaborated in the organization of international conferences (UNCTAD, WTO, Ministries, private sector, among others). Through this time she has helped execute activities with the Virtual Institute of UNCTAD and Red LATN (Latin American network about trade). Since 2010, Karla has been working as a Fellow on the Master of Bio-trade and Sustainable Development at the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru. In her free time she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and friends and going to the cinema and theater. Karla speaks Spanish, English and French.
