Aydin B. Yildirim is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the European Politics group at the Center for International and Comparative Studies of ETH Zurich. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the Robert Schuman Centre of the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence as well as a Non-Resident Fellow at the World Trade Institute (WTI) in Bern, Switzerland.

Aydin’s research primarily focuses on the politics of international trade and international institutions, the impact of economic globalization, and the role of multinational companies in global economic governance. He recently finalized his EU-funded Marie-Curie project PROSPER that was hosted by the WTI, in which Aydin examined the role of multinational companies in European external trade relations. He previously served as a Max Weber Fellow at the EUI, Visiting Fellow at the Nuffield College of the University of Oxford, and a guest lecturer at IE University in Spain. Among others, his work has been published by International Organization, Review of International Organizations, Journal of Common Market Studies, and Global Policy.
