Satish has more than a decade of experience in advising and assisting the Government of India as well as private entities in trade remedy investigations before various forums, including the United States Department of Commerce, the European Commission and the Indian trade remedy authority (DGTR). He began his legal career in India with Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan Attorneys, a law firm specializing in international trade. In addition, Satish has also briefly worked on issues pertaining to TBT measures, Indian Foreign Trade Policy, classification of products, Indian service tax and excise laws.

Satish joined the TRAIL+ Program to broaden his experience in international trade law and acquire a more nuanced understanding of international investment law and environmental law. In particular, Satish is keen to develop a deeper understanding of climate change policies and its impact on international trade.

Satish holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce with Honours and a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Delhi.
