Li-Cheng (Ken) Chen

Currently pursuing a L.L.M. degree at the WTI, Ken was born and raised in Taipei, Taiwan. Having his academic roots in domestic law and international business, he is furthering his career by specializing in international trade law.
Prior to joining the WTI, Ken acquired several hands-on experiences alongside his college studies and during his ongoing master’s degree. During a 6-months part-time position as a legal assistant at WT Microelectronics while in college, he edited, proofread, and drafted legal documents and contracts covering various aspects of the company’s business operations. Through this role, Ken became familiar with cross-department communication and negotiations. During his master’s programme, Ken co-edited and managed the publication of the research center’s biweekly e-newsletter on topical issues in international economic and trade law: https://tradelaw.nccu.edu.tw/sample-page/經貿法訊/. He also coordinated a 1-year research project on SPS and TBT issues commissioned by the government.
Ken holds an L.L.B. from National Chengchi University (NCCU), Taiwan. He plans to complete his Master of International Business (MIB) in NCCU after obtaining his L.L.M. from the WTI. Ken aspires to become a legal professional specializing in compliance and risk management in international trade.
