Nosirkhon Gozikhonov is a trade policy analyst with extensive experience in international trade law, WTO policy, and economic development initiatives. He currently works with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) on the regional “Aid for Trade in Central Asia” initiative, where he supports trade policy development, WTO accession-related capacity building, and initiatives aimed at enhancing regional trade integration and SME competitiveness. He also completed an internship at the WTO Secretariat under the China Accession Internship Programme.

He holds an LL.M. degree in International Trade and Investment Law from Lyon Catholic University as a French Government Scholar, and a Bachelor’s degree in Commercial Law from Westminster International University in Tashkent. Fluent in English, Russian, and Uzbek, he brings a multilingual and cross-cultural perspective to his work in international trade law and policy.

Currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Law at the World Trade Institute of the University of Bern under the supervision of Prof. Peter Van den Bossche, his research focuses on reforming the decision-making process of the World Trade Organization through comparative institutional analysis.
