Sara Núñez-Évora

Sara Núñez Évora is the Global Trade & Tax Process Lead at TetraPak International SA. Her role aims at automatizing, digitalizing and overall streamlining trade, customs and export processes while meeting compliance obligations, as well as operational and systems reality. Sara previously worked as Head of Trade Compliance at On AG. As part of her role, Sara was involved in the set up of the Trade & Customs practice in-house covering a wide range of topics such as tariff classification, customs valuation, preferential treatment, customs brokerage management, audits, customs documentation. Previously, Sara worked for the private sector advising companies on customs topics as well as for international institutions and governments on trade policy in Europe, Asia, and Africa.

Sara is passionate about how International Trade Law is applied in practice by global companies, its impact on compliance, operations and systems.

Sara holds a Master of Science (MSc) in Economics from the Barcelona School of Economics and an LLM in International Economic Law and Policy (IELPO) at the University of Barcelona
