Sustainability at Huawei

Abstract:
The seminar provided an overview of supply-chain sustainability measures utilized in the developing country multinational Huawei, as well as a look into future measures.

Speaker biography:
Alan Aicken is currently Vice President and Chief Sustainability Officer of Global Supply Chain at Huawei, Shenzhen, China. In the past he has extensive international experience with a large Dutch Electronics company spanning over 20 years and three continents. He has audited over 300 suppliers and is an accredited SA 8000 and EFQM auditor. Whereas most of his career has focused on Advanced Purchasing Processes he has spent the last 15 years driving sustainable improvement in the Supply Chain.

Alan joined Huawei in February 2011, Vice President of Procurement and Chief Sustainability Officer Supply Chain.
