‘Transcending Fear: The story of Gao Zhisheng’ Film Screening and Presentation
This documentary covers the life of Chinese human rights lawyer Gao Zhisheng. After the film screening a presentation by Man-Yan Ng (Internationale Gesellschaft für Menschenrechte) will take place, followed by a discussion.
The biographical documentary (2013), which was directed by Wenjing Ma, is shown in English language with German subtitles. The presentation and discussion are in German. Questions to the human rights expert Man-Yan Ng in the discussion following the screening can be asked in English.
This event is organised by the European Law Students' Association and Amnesty International Students Group of the University of Bern.
