The SARS-CoV-2 variant Omicron: a snapshot of where we are

This MCID Outreach event is organised in response to the appearance of the SARS-CoV-2 variant Omicron and the rising levels of concern in the Swiss public sphere following confirmed reports of variant Omicron infections in several regions of the country. Eight experts based at the University of Bern/Inselspital and associated institutes will present and discuss topics on the detection, spread, characteristics and impact of variant Omicron. Questions from the audience will be addressed in a moderated “Townhall” panel session including all experts. This is an online event requiring registration.
