Abstract

What are the global sanctions and embargos? How global sanctions affect trade between countries and between businesses worldwide? How globalization increased exposure to global sanctions risks? Why it is more important than ever for businesses to know who they are doing business with and their potential exposure to hidden sanctions and reputational risks? What impact global sanctions may have on any businesses from a regulatory perspective as well as operational side? How to protect businesses through pro-active risk and compliance management? In this paper, we approach these questions by providing the important insights to help develop a better understanding of potential risks and ways of managing them.
