Peter Van den Bossche lectures at Chinese conferences

World Trade Institute (WTI) Director of Studies Peter Van den Bossche has completed a lecture tour in China where he addressed conferences on international law in Beijing and Haikou.

His first stop was in Beijing where he spoke on ‘Use and Abuse of the National Security Exception in International Trade Law’ at a conference entitled ‘A Changing International Economic Order and the Response from International Law’ held on 26 and 27 September at the University of International Business and Economics.

From Beijing Professor Van den Bossche moved to China’s southern tip to address the 2019 Annual Conference of the WTO Law Research Society of the China Law Society held at Hainan University, Haikou, Hainan province, on 28 and 29 September. His lecture there was on ‘Malgovernance of WTO Appellate Review: Causes and Remedies’.
