Abstract

The world economic order of the past is no longer. Geo-political confrontation and geo-economic fragmentation have given rise to significant uncertainty, inefficiency, and inequality in international economic relations. What are the underlying causes of this wretched state of disarray of the world economy? How can the multiple crises affecting the global trading system be addressed and mitigated? Is there any hope for ‘salvation’?
