What role for the local governments in the European and international multilevel governance?
The final event in the CLISEL workshop series on ‘Climate change, migration, security: the role of city councils’. When and under what conditions can we talk about multilevel governance of climate change and migration? What is the role of local governments within the framework of such governance? This workshop will focus on these questions, in particular through the experience and perspective of local authorities.
The speakers will be Dr Federica Cristani – postdoctoral researcher, World Trade Institute; Prof. Ilenia Ruggiu – Professor of Constitutional Law, University of Cagliari; and Dr Giovanni Bettini – Lecturer, Lancaster University (United Kingdom).
