"Leap of faith: the new 16-member alternative appeals tribunal at the WTO"

Peter Van den Bossche, Director of Studies at the WTI, shared his views in a recent article on the alternative mechanism to the WTO Appellate Body which aims at settling legal disputes at appellate level. the author of the article, Iana Dreyer, is the founder and chief editor of Borderlex.eu, the leading online publication on European trade policy.

Apart from Peter Van den Bossche, WTI Advisory Board and External Faculty member Gabrielle Marceau is also quoted in the article, alongside others such as Paolo Garzotti, deputy representative of the EU to the WTO in Geneva; Bernd Lange, EU’s international trade committee chief; Letizia Ramirez, a legal counsellor at the Mission of Mexico to the WTO and Philippe Cellard, a legal advisor at the Canadian mission to the WTO in Geneva.
