SUK conference on 'Populism and European Policies: The Challenges Ahead'
Within the framework of the SUK Programme on Law, Ideas and Politics, and in cooperation with the University of Fribourg, Faculty of Law, and the University of Bern, Faculty of Philosophy, the WTI will host a final event on the topic of 'Populism and European Policies: The Challenges Ahead'.
With an introduction and conclusions by Manfred Elsig and Peter Van den Bossche.
Keynote speakers include François Crépeau, Special UN Rapporteur on the Human Rights of Migrants, Simon Evenett, Professor of International Trade and Economic Development at the University of St. Gallen, and Markus Stepanians, Professor Extraordinarius of Practical Philosophy at the University of Bern.
